Blood Moon, Lunar Eclipse | Sarah Rickard Photography

I photographed the Blood Moon Lunar Eclipse down at Flat Rock Ballina on Tuesday night 15 April.

It was surprising how red the moon looked and how quickly the eclipse completed to reveal a normal looking full moon.

Jade smashed a cake for her 1st birthday, she really got into it and had some fun.

I generally like to do cake smash sessions in my studio, but this one was done at Jade's house.

I had the pleasure of photographing baby Sam at 4 days new.  He was an adorable cuddly boy, I could have cuddled him all day.

I absolutely love photographing newborns!

I am very experienced with newborns.  I have the patience and also understand that they may take longer than a "normal" session to allow for feeding, changing and cuddling.

I absolutely love photographing pregnant bellies!  I think it comes from really loving my pregnancies and wanting to capture these precious memories in time.

Photographing Liz at 39 weeks pregnant with baby #3 was no exception.  Liz was glowing and absolutely stunning.
