When the new series of Lego Minifigures came out recently, I knew I had to have "Spooky Girl" just for me!  I think she is a great minifigure and now I have two.

I decided to do a fun "halloween" inspired photography shoot with her - I had lots of fun creating these images.  I hope you like them.

Living in Australia we dont tend to celebrate Halloween, although it seems to be becoming a little bit more popular in the last few years.

 We love to dress up and have fun in this house - zombies are a favourite (as well as super heroes).

My 11 year old and I decided that we would have a zombie afternoon - I worked my make up magic on him, including making some fake blood.

Coraki Art Prize | Lismore Photographer | Sarah Rickard Photography

I entered 2 photos into the Coraki Art Prize this year (this is the first year that I have entered works).

I attended the opening night of the Art Prize on Friday night and was thrilled to have been awarded an Highly Commended for my photo "Sad Clown".

I was really happy with the feedback I received from the judge, Rudiger Wasser, "A wonderful portrait that does everything right with shapes, focus and spacing".

I really enjoy photographing children at any age.

I found this dirt road on one of my many location scouting adventures and knew that this was the perfect shot for a photoshoot.

Miss Chloe and I beat a storm and some rain to get this shoot done.
